ComfortDelGro Australia Expands National Respect Campaign To Strengthen Driver Safety

Bus Wrap Victoria NSW2026MELBOURNE: 9 September — Leading multi-modal transport operator ComfortDelGro Australia (CDC) has launched the second phase of its national Respect your Driver campaign, reinforcing its commitment to driver safety, workforce wellbeing and positive community behaviour across the public transport network.

The campaign responds to the ongoing challenge of antisocial behaviour faced by frontline transport workers and seeks to foster a culture of mutual respect between passengers and the drivers who play a critical role in keeping communities connected every day.

Supported by public transport authorities across the states, the campaign features real CDC drivers and is running across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Canberra with posters inside buses and advertising on the outside of select buses across the country.

CDC started this initiative in 2025 in response to increasing antisocial behaviour across their operations and on public transport in general. Aimed at showing support for its drivers and encouraging mutual respect on their buses, the operator has launched the second phase of the campaign in line with its continued commitment to driver safety.

With the campaign extended this year to include on-bus advertising in Queensland and expanded advertising on buses in New South Wales, and more drivers taking part across the country, the initiative reflects CDC’s support for its drivers and encourages respect for those who help many get to where they need to go safety and reliably.

Bus Wrap Linda Pointing2026 1ComfortDelGro Australia CEO Nicholas Yap said:

“With antisocial behaviour continuing to challenge public transport and society as a whole, this campaign is a timely reminder of the importance of treating each other with respect when we travel. Drivers play an essential role in our local communities, not just in getting us from A to B, but as a friendly face on your morning commute, your weekend activities, or your trip to school. We’re proud to be leading this important initiative because we all deserve to be treated with respect on the journeys we take for recreation, education and work.”

Recognising the important role bus drivers play in keeping communities moving, CDC is encouraging passengers to treat all bus drivers with respect. The Human.Kind Respect your Driver campaign will run until October.
