Flexible bus services that complement our existing routes, making public transport even more accessible
In partnership with Transport for NSW, we’re proud to announce the launch of a new on demand bus service for Woolgoolga in Coffs Harbour.
Woopi Connect has been designed to give the Woolgoolga community greater flexibility with their transport options. Woopi Connect is a safe, secure and reliable bus service that works to complement our existing routes.
How Woopi Connect works
Passengers book and pay for their trip via the Woopi Connect app, available on Google Play and the App Store. Alternatively, they can call our team on 6654 0581.
A Hyundai iLoad will pick them up at their designated time and location, dropping them at their chosen destination.
When Woopi Connect is available
Bookings can be made 24/7 via the app, with bus services available on demand between 7am to 7pm.
How much Woopi Connect costs
Prices start at $2.10, but in most cases fares are comparable to an Adult Opal single trip bus ticket. We sell and accept the Regional Express daily tickets, which will be sold and accepted to eligible concession holders.
The areas of Woolgoolga that Woopi Connect is servicing
We’ve divided our service areas into two zones to ensure the customer journey is reliable and responsive.
- The first of these covers Woolgoolga, Safety Beach and Mullaway.
- The second includes Arrawarra Headland, Arrawarra, and Corindi Beach.
Why an on demand bus service for Woolgoolga?
If you’ve been to Woolgoolga, you’ll understand why. It’s a beautiful seaside town on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, with its fantastic whale watching, views of the stunning Solitary Islands and destination events are making it a highly sought-after destination for tourists. At the same time, commerce in the region is strong.
Woopi Connect is designed to support the Woolgoolga community by facilitating their ‘Eat Stay Shop Play’ initiative. In complementing existing public transport timetables, the on demand bus service also:

- Utilises the same operational standards as our fleet buses, ensuring no compromise on safety
- Eliminates timetable management, simplifying the entire customer journey across all platforms
