School students in the Mount Larcom and Yarwun State School footprint will benefit from Buslink QLD’s acquisition of bus runs previously operated by Stonestreets, delivering the same service arrangements supported by Buslink’s commitment to safety.
Buslink Gladstone Manager Jim O’Donnell said Buslink particularly want to communicate these changes to parents.
“Child safety is our number one priority, so we don’t want parents to be surprised or concerned when a new logo appears on the buses collecting their children,” Mr O’Donnell said.
“We also want to stress that there will be no changes whatsoever to service delivery and we hope parents will be assured by Buslink’s commitment to safety and customer service,” he said.
Buslink began school and urban bus services in Gladstone in 1999 and currently has 32 buses based in Gladstone.
Since then has grown its operations in the region to include speciality charter and transport for customers with special needs.
In November 2018 Buslink was acquired by ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC), owned by ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited – a global transportation company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
